As part of my History and Theory module I completed my dissertation which the grade above is solely based on. The title of the dissertation is, “From Grass Roots To Croke Park.“ The concept behind the dissertation was to analyze how different GAA grounds have evolved over time and how they have all evolved around the same concepts and principals. The reason I chose this subject for my dissertation is because it is a subject that is of huge interest to me and something that I am very passionate about as can be seen from reading the dissertation.

Previous Work Experience:
Bucholz McEvoy Architects
September 2009 - January 2010
My main responsibility while working with Bucholz McEvoy was that I was working as part of a team on a tender package. During the tender process I learned both the value of teamwork and how to work off my own initiative. Working on these drawings has helped me to become more aware of how the projects that are built are perceived. The most important lesson I have learned, is the value of quality detailing. Working on a tender package has made me realize the level of detail that is required in a project. Some of the skills I have learned include Bentley Microstation, detailed 3D modeling and the importance of making large scale models of details.
Killarney Park Hotel
November 2005 - August 2009
During my time in the Killarney Park I have worked as a concierge, night porter and leisure centre attendant. Working in different positions within the hotel meant that I had to be quite versatile and self motivated, particularly
as a night porter. As a night porter I was the only staff member on duty in the hotel which demanded high levels of responsibility and required that I work off my own initiative.
